Booking Terms

Important information about your reservation

Overview

These Booking Terms apply to all reservations made with Wanderlux. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Booking Confirmation & Deposit

A valid booking is created when you receive a confirmation email from us. A deposit of 30% of the total package price is required at the time of booking for most tours. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 45 days, full payment is required immediately.

2. Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and wire transfers. All payments are processed securely. Prices are quoted in US dollars and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellation by You

Cancellation must be submitted in writing. Refunds depend on the timing of cancellation:

  • More than 60 days: Full refund minus a $100 administration fee.
  • 60–31 days: 50% of total package price refunded.
  • 30–15 days: 25% refund.
  • 14 days or less: No refund.

Some packages (e.g., custom luxury itineraries) may have different cancellation terms, which will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

4. Changes by You

If you need to modify your booking (dates, destinations, etc.), we will do our best to accommodate. A change fee of $50 per person may apply, plus any additional costs from suppliers. Changes requested within 30 days of departure are subject to availability and may be treated as a cancellation.

5. Changes or Cancellation by Us

In rare circumstances (e.g., minimum participant not reached, natural disasters), Wanderlux may cancel or modify a tour. You will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative or a full refund. We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred (visa fees, vaccinations, etc.).

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical expenses, baggage loss, and trip interruption. Insurance is not included in our package prices.

7. Special Requests

If you have dietary restrictions, mobility concerns, or other special requests, please inform us at the time of booking. We will pass them on to suppliers, but we cannot guarantee they will be fulfilled.

8. Force Majeure

Wanderlux is not liable for delays, injuries, or damages caused by events beyond our control, including war, terrorism, strikes, natural disasters, weather, or government actions.
